Marks of Absence is a three artist, dual venue exhibition that investigates our perception of absence and renders lack as subject itself. Fort Gondo Compound for the Arts will feature both a sculpture series by Lily Cox-Richard and the shaped panel acrylic paintings of Lori Larusso. With regard to the viewer’s awareness of absence, the third artist’s work will be shown at the separate but nearby location, Good Citizen Gallery. There, Caleb Cole exhibits his series of photographs titled Other People’s Clothes.
Artists featured in Marks of Absence were selected from the Santo Foundation’s open call for artists.
